Square Machine Screw Jack is the most widely used mechanical actuator for intermittent duty cycles as the actuator incorporates a precision worm gear set in a rugged casting delivering positive, precise actuation. The square box design offers modern aesthetics and versatile mounting on two faces of the gearbox, while eliminating the need for upright and inverted variants. The square box screw jacks are available in 11 sizes, each with a basic translating screw version and a travelling nut version which, depending on the size, start from a payload of 2.5kN and can lift up to 500kN. These jacks are used wherever controlled lifting, lowering and slewing is required. They can be installed singly, in pairs or as part of a multiple jack system.
