What Materials Are Used To Make Screw Jacks

Worm gear ball screw jacks combine the high-reduction capabilities of a worm gear set with the high efficiency of a ball screw. Because these jacks are designed for higher duty cycles and speeds than standard machine screw jacks, they use hardened, high-performance materials to manage heat and reduce friction. Ball Screw Shaft: Made from hardened alloy steel (like GCr15 or C45). The surface is typically induction-hardened to HRC 58–62 to ensure long-term durability.
