What Materials Are Commonly Used in Manufacturing Screw Jacks

Bevel gear ball screw jacks are engineered for high-speed, high-duty cycle applications. Unlike standard worm gear jacks, they utilize spiral bevel gears to achieve efficiencies of up to 90%. To maintain this performance, manufacturers use high-grade, hardened materials for nearly every internal component. Most spiral bevel gears are made from high-quality alloy steel (such as 20CrMnTi) that is case-hardened, tempered, and lapped in pairs for maximum durability and precision.
