How To Choose An Electric Servo Cylinder

To choose the right electric servo cylinder, you must first define your application's mechanical load and motion profile, as these dictates the required force, speed, and precision. Selecting an appropriately sized cylinder ensures efficient operation and prevents premature failure. Mounting Configuration: Choose a mounting style that fits your machine’s frame, such as front flange, rear clevis, or side trunnion. Ball screws are common for high efficiency and smooth operation, while roller screws are preferred for heavy-duty applications requiring extreme thrust and longevity.

Selection Guide: KMZ50/L20/C800/P02/RE/R1/FCP

1. Model

KMZ1.5 - KMZ600: Parallel Drive Design, maximum push load 1.5KN to 600KN.

KMT1.5-KMT600: Inline Drive Design, maximum push load  1.5KN to 600KN.

KMZ (1) - 副本

Note: The Push Load, Stroke and Speed of the Servo Electric Cylinders need to be combined with the actual use, and the three upper limits cannot be used in combination at the same time.

2. Ball Screw Lead

L20 is 20mm lead.

Different models and speeds correspond to different lead of ball screws. Please refer to the corresponding technical parameters in the catalog.

3. Stroke

C800 is 800mm stroke. Custom stroke.

Stroke is travel length expressed in millimeter(mm) and not the actual pushrod length.

There are no standard travel lengths, all electric cylinders' stroke lengths are produced according to your requirements.
