Eight Screw Jacks Systems Arrangement, also named A eight point lift system that was devised using eight screw jacks, bevel gearboxes, couplings and drive shafts. This machine screw and ball screw jacks are the ideal product to push, pull, lift, lower and position object loads. They are essential components in automated machinery because of high reliability and synchronization. There are no "standard" travel lengths and all screw jack systems are built to specification.

Eight Screw Jacks Systems Arrangement, also named A eight point lift system that was devised using eight screw jacks, bevel gearboxes, couplings and drive shafts. This machine screw and ball screw jacks are the ideal product to push, pull, lift, lower and position object loads. They are essential components in automated machinery because of high reliability and synchronization. There are no "standard" travel lengths and all screw jack systems are built to specification. In applications in which either multiple machine screw jacks or ball screw jacks are configured in a lifting system, a single motor could drive all screwjacks, further improving energy efficiency. Based on our many years of experience in the development and construction of lifting systems, we will be happy to design any specific system for you. 


Worm gear screw jacks are very good in multiple jack systems, because the torsional deflection of connecting shafts and couplings has little effect on positioning. The most popular system configurations are the "H" and  "HH" configured 8-jack systems. Note that multiple screw jacks can be linked together mechanically or electrically. Where there are multiple jacks forming part of a complete system, calculate the total input power for the system, including losses in couplings and gear boxes, using the following efficiency: 8-jacks system 80%, bevel gearboxes efficiency 94%. If motorized screw jack system, the bevel-helical gear motors efficiency 90%-95%, but RV worm gear motors efficiency 40%-50%.

Typical 8-jack System Configurations with Main Components

H-Configuration main components are 8pcs screw jacks (ball screw and machine screw), 3pcs bevel gearboxes, 20pcs or 21pcs couplings, 10pcs connecting shafts, 1pc motor or 1pc hand wheel.

HH-Configuration main components are 8pcs screw jacks (ball screw and machine screw), 7pcs bevel gearboxes, 28pcs or 29pcs couplings, 14pcs connecting shafts, 1pc motor or 1pc hand wheel.

1. Housing is aluminum alloy with anodizing or nodular cast iron. Custom 304 or 316 stainless steel

2. Lifting screw is 45# steel. Custom 304 or 316 stainless steel.

3. Input shaft (worm) is 45# steel, heat treatment process. Custom 304 or 316 stainless steel.

4. Internal wormgear is aluminum bronze.

5. Traveling Nut is aluminum bronze.

6. Safety Nut is aluminum bronze.

7. Bearing is chromium bearing steel. Custom 304 stainless steel.

1. Housing is aluminum alloy with anodizing or nodular cast iron. Custom 304 or 316 stainless steel

3. Internal wormgear is aluminum bronze.

4. Ball screw is SCM450 alloy steel. Hardness: HRC 58-62.

5. Ball nut is SCM415H alloy steel. Hardness: HRC 58-62.

6. Steel ball is SUJ2 bearing steel. Hardness: HRC 60

7. Bearing is chromium bearing steel. Custom 304 stainless steel.

Note: Ball Screws and Nuts are made from hardened alloy steel with hardened bearing balls carrying the load between nut and screw.

1. Spiral Bevel Gear is high purity rugged alloy steel, carburizing process, case hardened and lapped in pairs for intersecting shafts.

2. Input Shaft is hardened and tempered alloy steel. Custom 304, 316 stainless steel.

3. Output Shaft is hardened and tempered alloy steel. Custom 304, 316 stainless steel.

4. Housing is high rigidity cast iron or aluminum alloy.

5. Bearing is chromium bearing steel. Custom 304 stainless steel.
